We received a wide range of ideas from members worldwide, with submissions in English, French, and Spanish, reflecting the international nature of EvalForward. Your input directly shapes our plans for the remainder of 2024 and for 2025.
Here are some of the key themes that emerged:
- Climate Change and Resilience: Many of you expressed a strong interest in exploring how evaluations can better assess climate change impacts on food security and identify effective adaptation strategies.
- Gender Equity and Social Inclusion: Ensuring that evaluations consider gender dynamics, and the inclusion of marginalized groups was a clear priority.
- Technology and Innovation: There was significant interest in exploring the role of new technologies, including AI, in agriculture and how to evaluate their impact.
- Evaluation Methods and Approaches: You shared a wide range of methodological suggestions, including participatory approaches, mixed methods, and the use of innovative tools.
- Capacity Building and Learning: Many members highlighted the importance of strengthening evaluation capacity and promoting knowledge sharing.
