I am a researcher, strategy development and planning specialist with my first qualification being in public health and have over 25 years of experience in the field of Health including HIV & AIDS Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, Health Education, Community Health and Disease Control & Prevention Programmes, Education, Agriculture & Food Security, Child Rights & Youth Development, Humanitarian aid and Disaster Response Management.
I have worked with and for SADC Regional programmes and projects and I am still providing consulting technical support services SADC to most of the Social Human Development and Special programmes. I have worked from 2005 to 2014 as expert advisory committee member- SADC Technical Advisory Committee, a structure providing quality assurance on all documents and technical papers before forwarded to Council of Ministers; SADC Social Human Development and Special Programmes.
My experience in Humanitarian Health and disaster, Food Security, Health in emergency, Displaced communities, HIV and AIDS programme design, development and implementation, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and Gender Based Violence, Child Rights & Youth Development, Education development and Human Rights includes working in organisations inter alia; International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Save the Children International (SCI), Southern African Development Community (SADC), NAPSARS and UNAIDS, UNESCO, USAID, FHI, CDC, DFID, SIDA supported projects and programmes. I have in all SADC countries, East African countries and few West African countries. I have represented Africa and SADC region on international missions among others; Global Fund Replenishment on G8 Summits, G20 Summits, BRICS meetings/Summits, UN High Level Meetings, AU Commission and many others.
I am now an Independent Research Strategy Development Specialist with passion in transformative social human and economic development. I am currently studying towards doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA) 2023, and in possession of MSc in Leadership and Change Management, Diploma in Public Health and several certificates in project management and HIV. I am also Director New Business Development & Partnership for a research consulting firm: ADTICS Research and Media Consulting Services Pty LTD which is registered in South Africa which works a network of consultants across various expertise in different sectors, in South Africa and Africa.
My vision is to see Africa leadership in the hands of young people, through developing young leadership.
