Carolina De La Rosa is a forester with master’s in environmental and geography studies with sixteen years of experience across the whole range from rural development, low carbon to climate resilient agenda. During all these years, she has provided strategic guidance and policy expertise to the public and private sector, particularly in nature based solutions and incentive structures that support best management practices in agriculture and forestland management.

She started her career implementing projects in the Amazon in biodiversity conservation, forestry and Land Use, sustainable agriculture, and ecosystem services. For the last ten years, she has been working with international organizations in the design, development, and implementation of complex projects with the public and private sector in developing countries. She also has experience in the monitoring and evaluation of projects. She has led mid-term and final evaluation processes for IDB and FAO. She now works as a Results Oriented Monitoring Expert providing technical services in monitoring and reporting of European Union funded projects, identifying implementation issues for consideration and management.
