Dr. Natalie E. Cook is a Public Health professor at Virginia Tech who specializes in mixed methods community-based research and evaluation, evaluation capacity building, cultural responsiveness, and health equity. Dr. Cook’s primary objective is to promote equity and reduce health disparities by using transformative evaluation to strengthen community health programs. She is personally motivated by the U.S. land grant/grab mission/duty to leverage knowledge for social betterment and she values working in partnership with communities. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Cook earned her BS in Human Development at Cornell University and her MS and PhD in Program Evaluation at Virginia Tech.
