Aurélie Toillier is senior researcher at CIRAD, in management sciences applied to agricultural innovation and capacity development in the context of Southern countries. Her research aims to understand learning processes and organizational dynamics that contribute to innovation capacities in countries, with a view to promote open and responsible innovation approaches as answers to the sustainable development goals. She develops tools and methodologies for capacity monitoring, assessment and development, in collaboration with country-based professionals engaged in the support of multistakeholder innovation projects in a diversity of contexts, mainly in Africa and South-East Asia. She is presently hosted at FAO,Office of Innovation, in Rome, where she supports the design and implementation of interventions and MEL systems for strenghtening agricultural innovation systems in multiple countries.
