Fernando [user:field_middlename] Bucheli

Dr Fernando Bucheli is a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with the Department of National Planning of Colombia and researcher on curation evidence tools. Fernando has worked in M&E for over 15 years and prior to joining the government he served as a consultant in development planning in several local and international development organisations. Fernando's research work concerns the operationalisation of the Capability Approach on context of urban marginality and residential segregation. He has carried out extensive research on the effects of residential segregation on human development capabilities. He has also worked as a university lecturer and consultant on topics such as development project management, coordination and effectiveness of international aid and humanitarian assistance. He has academic publications including journal articles and chapters in edited volumes. He did his PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK.
