Work Experience
I have over 11 years of experience in agriculture and humanitarian sectors, currently serving as a Regional Agriculture Specialist and FSAC Cluster Focal Point with UNFAO in Afghanistan. In this role, I lead initiatives in agriculture support, resilience building, cash-for-work programs, livestock management, and gender-focused interventions. Additionally, I act as FAO Office-in-Charge in the northeast region, overseeing emergency and resilience activities.
Previously, I worked with DT-Global/USAID as a Senior Technical Advisor for Environmental Inspection and Audit, supporting environmental protection, agriculture support, and climate resilience initiatives. I also have extensive experience with organizations such as Prime Consulting International Inc., AREA.org, WADAN.org, and Future Vision Organization, focusing on empowering farmers and women across various provinces of Afghanistan.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated expertise in international human rights standards, humanitarian principles, and institutional mandates. I have led training programs, collaborated with key stakeholders, and provided impactful support to vulnerable groups, including IDPs, returnees, and women, while promoting sustainable development and zero hunger initiatives.
