Freelance consultant and attorney-at-law
Italy

After graduating in Law in 2008, in 2013 I obtained my Ph.D. in Comparative Law from the University of Florence and was admitted to the Italian Bar. Since 2012, I have worked as a rule of law, justice reform and human rights consultant for the EU, the OECD and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I acquired significant experience in the Western Balkans (Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia), Turkey and Georgia. In addition to my ongoing work as an attorney-at-law with a Florence-based law firm specialising in civil litigation and private international law, since 2020 I collaborate with an Italian association of judges and prosecutors as editor of their online law journal. Through the years, I authored several publications in English and Italian https://scholar.google.it/citations?user=h8DBsIQAAAAJ&hl=en), mainly focused on the protection of socio-economic rights, judicial review of legislation and the promotion of the Rule of Law through the EU External Action. The combination of a strong academic background with a diverse hands-on experience allows me to undertake new challenges with a proactive, passion-driven approach and contribute to teamwork with competence and dedication.
