Victor Balogun is a Monitoring and Evaluation Enthusiast with 5 years’ experience in Data
collection& analysis, Agribusiness, Report writing, Data Quality Assessment and Field Based
Monitoring. He is result oriented, proactive and flexible team player with excellent
communication and inter-personal skills. Victor is passionate about Data driven advocacy with
keen attention to details. He is cool, calm, exceptionally talented, smart and have varied
experience across agriculture, politics, youth development, leadership, development, monitoring
and evaluation of development projects etc. He demonstrates a good understanding and a firm
grasp of issues in these sectors. Currently, he is working with some international NGOs (on a
short-term basis) in northeast Nigeria; to provide support for the monitoring and evaluation of
the activities of the international NGOs (Catholic Relief Services, Mercy Corps, International
Institute for Tropical Agriculture and Navanti Group).
Victor is very skillful and highly resourceful in mentoring, teaching, empowering, and getting
staff to deliver on their work schedule. This is seen in his ability to deal skillfully and promptly
with new situations, difficulties, and challenges whenever they show up. He is always ready
to act within prescribed limits to resolve conflicts amicably and professionally whenever the
need arises, he has the knowledge and skills that helps him to perform effectively, his method of
providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people is to lead them by example,
himself taking the lead at doing what he expects the people he is leading to do.
He has excellent skills in building coalitions and partnerships, he does this bearing in mind an
awareness of organizational realities and audience perspectives.
