This toolbox, developed by RECOFTC (Restoring landscapes in Southeast Asia), is designed to support community forest groups monitor their baseline status, and the progress and outcomes they have achieved. The use of the toolbox depends on the specific needs of community forest groups and is therefore designed to be adapted and tailored to the local context.
The toolbox provides a variety of tools for planning, monitoring and reporting that is relevant to the community forest group and was developed using the livelihoods monitoring framework due to its capacity in capturing group outcomes in a holistic manner. The information is categorized according to five livelihood capitals: natural, financial, physical, human and social.
