Loving this discussion JP - what I’ve also observed is the use of multiple methods (incl quant & qual), without the “mixed” part in the analysis and findings. They’re presented as two separate sets of findings, without a meaningful synthesis of the data. I think mixed methods is one of the most misunderstood topics in evaluation (and research).
