I am an epidemiologist and deputy director of ASTRE, the integrated health research unit in CIRAD. I specialize on the evaluation of health surveillance systems in developed and developing countries, on emerging zoonotic risks and on the strengthening of public-private partnerships. I provide expertise for international organisations. I am the co-founder of the PREZODE initiative (Preventing Zoonotic Disease Emergence). I drive international change in paradigm towards increased prevention of health risks using a bottom-up approach and evidence based evaluation.
