This tip sheet from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)  draws on Network experience in capacity development and joint evaluation to provide some basic “tips” to advise managers and evaluators in development agencies on how best to support evaluation capacity development in partner countries through their regular evaluation work. It outlines elements of a more “capacity-friendly” approach to evaluation, based on the key principles of harmonisation, alignment and use of partner country evaluation systems.
