I have a Ph.D. in Sociology "mixed methods research" focused on mother and child health. I have more than thirteen years’ experience in the fields of research, monitoring, evaluation & learning. I have been leading MEL units and evaluation studies managed third-party monitors and evaluators. I also have experienced working as an independent consultant for baselines, surveys, and evaluation studies of different projects. I have been working on different types of projects such as, food and nutrition security, WASH, livelihoods, protection, psychosocial support, and education. I have been working UN, academia, and INGOs in Pakistan, Iraq, Moldova, Poland, and Sri Lanka. I have published 6 papers on evaluation, two on monitoring and learning, and four on applied social research. Currently my book on M&E practices and applied social research is under publication with Routledge publishers London.
